This waist strap fastens with velcro and adds a padded back panel, so the weight of the backpack vacuum sits against your lower back rather than pulling on your shoulders. It’s designed to pair with the newer velcro-style shoulder straps, not the older clip-based set.
It fits the full T1 backpack range, including T1, T1v2, T1v3, T1v3-G and T1v3-B, which covers the Rapid MKII machine sold locally.
