The Makita DC18RD charges two 18V lithium-ion batteries at the same time, as fast as 22 minutes for a 3.0Ah pack, so your cordless gear is never waiting on charge.

Description

The DC18RD is Makita’s dual port rapid charger, built to charge two 18V batteries at once instead of one at a time. Its built-in CPU reads each battery’s memory chip to pick the right charging method, and a forced air cooling fan keeps the battery cool to cut charging time further.

An LED display and a sound alert let you know when a battery’s ready, so it suits busy sites running more than one cordless tool or vacuum off the same battery platform.
