Sodium metasilicate anhydrous is an inorganic alkaline salt used as a base ingredient in detergent, dish and laundry formulations, metal cleaners and other industrial cleaning products. It’s a white, free flowing powder that dissolves in cold water to form a strongly alkaline solution.

Supplied in a 25kg bag as a raw material, it’s intended for further mixing and dilution by trade and commercial customers formulating their own cleaning products, not for use straight from the bag.
